indvidual lash extensions
What are individual lash extensions?
A lot of people wonder why eyelash extensions take as long as they do or are charged at 'that price'. We all know how small and thin an eyelash is right? Now imagine placing a single mink, silk or cashmere lash, equally as small and thin, on top of that with a pair of tweezers and a special adhesive. Sounds impossible? Well that's what I do!
What do I do during the treatment?
Simply put, you lie there and you will probably fall asleep (lash nap). After applying soothing collagen gel eye pads to protect your bottom lashes, your eyes must remain closed until I finish the treatment. This is to protect your lashes from the adhesive and also so your eyes can remain as still as possible.
How long do they last?
This all depends and there are several things that will affect this such as your own individual lash growth cycle, how well you keep up with the aftercare, even how you sleep. Normally it is between 4 - 6 weeks.
How long does the treatment take?
This depends on how many lashes you have and whether or not they choose to co-operate with me! The more lashes you have, the more I can put on. The average time is up to 2 hours.
When should I get infills?
This can be done as early as you want but usually between 2 and no later than 3 weeks. You must also have at least 50% of your lash extensions when returning for an infill appointment. Otherwise a full set is required.
Can I get my lashes removed?
Of course you can, but you should never do this yourself. If for any reason you would like your lashes removed, please come back to me and I will remove these for you with a special adhesive remover. You can book this on the website.
